What is a good hair cut for woman over 50? Hair is way below shoulders. Any one know a good beauty shop ?

I would like to find a beauty shop that can look at your face and body to give you the best hairstyle to complement your face and body. Anyone know of one? i love my long hair, but it is hot, and it is a lot of work keeping it looking nice. What is a good hair cut for woman over 50? Hair is way below shoulders. To a find a good salon, I highly recommend going to www.redken.com and clicking on the salon finder link. You can put in your zip code and it will give you a list of Redken salons. Redken provides plenty of continuing education to it's salons and stylists which will include the type of service you are looking for. As for the hair style, the same rule applies whether you are over 50 or under 25. Bone structure, height, life style, hair texture, color, density, and many other factors determine a great style for you. In general, this does not include something parted down the m iddle and all one length but without a photo of you, I can't recommend a specific style. Most reputable salons offer complimentary consultations. Schedule an appointment or two at various salons in your area. When you find a stylist you're comfortable with, you can schedule an appointment. Go with an open mind, and allow the stylist to tell you what he/she would do if they had carte blanche to do whatever they wanted. This will give you a good feel for whether you want them to do your hair. A good consultation should include plenty of questions about your hair, your styling abilities, time constraints, lifestyle, etc. If you'd like to email me a recent photo of yourself, I could give you some recommendations. There are many great websites with great haircuts and I think you should probably start there until you see something that you really like and take that picture into a salon. Someone would have to know where you live in order to recommend a salon that is close to where you live/work.

I am sure you can find a style that would look very nice on you, maybe something that is medium length. My thinking is that YOU should select the style because sometimes hair stylists come up with cuts that in no way reflect your personality or are close to a style that you like. You probably know that shorter or medium-length hair definitely makes women look more stylish and youthful. You may also want to add foil highlights, which are beautiful.
