If the face is round, I'd recommend something flattering to the face - possible layers that can go either way (towards the face, or where they can be flipped out the opposite way).
Get some different opinions from a hairstylist. Because of your curly hair, if you go short, you'll probably have to use a flat iron on a daily basis. My hair is very wavy and when I cut it short, there was no living with it unless I flat ironed it.

I have curly hair. Don't cut it short. It will make you look so much bigger. Keep it shoulder-length with some soft layers around your face. You need a really good stylist.
if you cut it short you should really do a funky style and learn quick easy styles. you need a versatile cut so find a good stylist. bigger girls who have short funky hair and a good personality are sexy. learn how to use finishing products and irons the right way and get creative. or i cant see you so i dont know
