Military hair cuts for woman?

Well since the first thing that you do when you get to boot camp is cut your hair...what are the options for woman?? what are the options for females?Military hair cuts for woman?
They shave you baldMilitary hair cuts for woman?
My female friends and relatives who are in the military, usually wear their hair pulled back in a bun, or in French braids or a Bob cut.

I'm a huge fan of the show ';JAG';, and the lead female officer, Sarah ';Mac'; MacKenzie, a Marine, wore her hair in the styles I mentioned.
How long is your hair right now and when do you ship out? A lot of females (me, included) do a sock bun. This works best if your hair is shoulder length or longer. Recently I found a great youtube video that teaches you how to do it.

Go to youtube.com and type in RE: sock bun tutorial

It's the first one.

If your hair is too short to put into a sock bun, I would suggest cutting it off into a pixie style haircut. The regulations state that a female has to have feminine looking hair (aka no manly looking hairstyles) that fall above the collar and are neat and non-faddish.

Having a pageboy haircut will get really annoying and sweaty/messy throughout BCT, so either go real short or sock bun would be my suggestion.
If your hair is not above the shoulder you will have to put it up. You do not HAVE to cut your hair. If you have bangs grow them a bit so you can pin them back or you will be cutting them all the time to keep them above the eyebrow. You can google the grooming standards for any branch.
In the Air Force they send them to a female hair cutter for lack of better terms I guess. I can't speak for other branches, but I imagine they would cut it to proper length. Regulations usually allow no more than a 3 inch bulk and it has to be off and no longer than the collar.
in boot camp you will get it cut to your collar, but when you pass boot camp you can have it as long as you want it but when you put on that uniform you better keep it off that collar at all times.
women hair remain the same but it have to be kept clean, neat and tidy, to be fitted inside your cap, unless you want to be G.I Jane and go 100% bald.
you either pull your entire hair back into a bun (no bangs, or stray hairs)

you can braid it in cornrows

or simply just cut it shorter
you can keep it as long as you want but it must be kept above the collar
as for the army...check out AR 670-1 paragraph 4-8. if i remember correctly that is where you find female hair standards in the army.
i think its to the ear right all the way around.

But ive seen women have loose free flowing bangs too as along as the dont go over your eyes.
It depends on the branch. Specify what branch.
its all the same

shoulder length it aint bad becuase you all have the same hair cut
I'm pretty sure that they must just keep it up in a slick bun. But I'm not completely sure.
I think you just have to wear it in a tight bun with no stray hairs
your hair is supose to be shoulder length.
short hair...i dont think bald
i think you pull it back in a bun (low and tight)
really short. like rite under ur ears!!!! and it looks reallly bad :(
