Do women who join the navy have to get there hair cut if its long enough for a military style bun?

Yes. I would get it cut by your normal stylist before you leave. I got it cut to my chin before I left for boot camp and I never had to get it recut while I was there. After that you have to put it in a bun if it is past the bottom edge of a collar on a collared shirt. Air force can wear pony tails though I hear. I've worked with the air force before and it always seemed like their hair standards were more relaxed than the other branches.Do women who join the navy have to get there hair cut if its long enough for a military style bun?
Oh yeah! They are quick to chop it off. They don't car and the civilians cutting your hair are in a rush because they have hundreds others waiting in line to get their hair cut too. So don't expect a nice fancy haircut. Hight as well do it before you get there.Do women who join the navy have to get there hair cut if its long enough for a military style bun?
Yes. If your hair is long it gets cut to about chin length. After boot camp you can wear it however it fits into regulation. See picture.

Yes you will have to cut your hair in boot camp. Then after boot camp you can have it as long as you want.

Only to your Sholder but plese dont join the army
if it's too long to be styled to regulation, yes. Typically your hair will be at shoulder length
You should cut your hair above your collar before you ship out. You can sell your hair at: http://hairbuyer.com
