(but cuttin ur hair beautifies u too)


its haram to pluck ur eyebrows bcuz ur changing allah (SWT) creation


(put cutting ur hair changes allahs creation too)


and plus eyebrows grow back


(but so do hair)





so is it haram to cut ur hair or is it juss ok to pluck the hair on ur eyebrows

It is not haram to cut your hair, your hair is covered by hijab anyway, only husband and close family members will see it anyway. It IS haram to pluck eyebrows. Period. You cannot argue the haram out of an act that has been forbidden.

The evidence for that is the hadeeth of ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas'ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Allaah has cursed the woman who does tattoos and the one who has them done, the woman who plucks eyebrows (al-naamisah) and the one who has it done (al-mutanammisah), and the one who files her teeth for the purpose of beauty, altering the creation of Allaah.”





(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5931; Muslim, 2125)
Why are we questioning aspects which are already stated....?





If we went by the logic you provided ((the first point)), the same could also be said about Hijab, why do women cover up as indeed many look beautiful.... (just something to ponder over).


Whatever is related is for our benefit although many do not comprehend.





One can cut their hair, but not in a style which resembles the non believers/ and men
Except if you are married and your husband want you to do that (issue about the eyebrows). Cutting the hair? Remember that hair is part of womans' beauty, except under medical condition b4 you can be allowed to cut it..
Ibraheem Alaihis salaam, was first ordered to circumcise Himself and His son, He didn't ask why the penis not the hand, or the leg, He just did it and was given the name Muslim. Submission to the will of Allah. Got it?
Its not haram to cut your hair. What your not allowed to do is cut it in a boys style hair cut.

Because ';shaping eyebrows is forbidden'; is just another one of those illogical, arbitrary, ridiculous Islamic rules.





Women are allowed to wax the hair from the other parts of their body...how is that not changing creation?





Or how about circumcision? Both males and females can have that done in Islam...and that most certainly changes the creation....permanently. Whereas eyebrow hairs grow back.
